Here We Go Again

The 1 percent sales tax increase for Rock Island County was defeated on the April 7, 2015 ballot. The same referendum which was defeated in 2009 and 2014. No matter how many times it is defeated proponents can keep trying again and already are making plans for their next attempt to pass this harmful tax increase. Of course if it ever passes it will never go away. We will be using our companion Blog voteno2tax.blogspot.com to give arguments why the 1% sales tax should once again be defeated.
